Stephanie Trotter is a graduate of the Library and Information Technician program at Seneca College and has been in her current role as an Elementary School Library Technician with the Halton District School Board for the past ten years. The role involves balancing the individualized needs of eight elementary schools across Halton.  She has been involved with many special projects and committees while with the Halton District School Board including the Human Library, Periodical Selection Committee, and the Technology Enhanced Learning Leads.

Stephanie is passionate about connecting children and those who support them with the resources they are seeking. She deeply believes that libraries play an essential role in equitable access for all to sources of knowledge and she is proud to play a part in this important service.

In her free time Stephanie enjoys sharing books with her children and never misses the chance to read a bedtime story.
